IMPLAN Online: Industry Accounts

Located at the top of the Model Overview screen,  provides a look at Industry Account Reports, IxI Social Accounting Matrix, and the IxI Input Output Accounts.

In the Social Account modal window, there are three sections: 

• Industry Account Reports
• IxI Social Accounting Matrix
• IxI Input Output Accounts

Industry Account Reports

The Social Account Reports consists of four tabs:

• Institution Industry Demand
• Household Industry Demand
• Government Industry Demand
• Industry Output/Outlay Summary

Institution Industry Demand

The Institution Industry Demand tab shows a distribution breakdown of the Industries of what Institutions purchase.

Household Industry Demand

The Household Industry Demand tab divides the total Household's consumption, provided in Institution Industry Demand, into the 9 Household income classes.

Government Industry Demand

The Government Industry Demand tab expands the government consumption, provided in Institution Industry Demand, into three (3) Federal and three (3) State/Local government types.

Industry Output/Outlay Summary

The Industry Output/Outlay Summary shows total Industry expenditures and receipts. Purchases are detailed by Industry (Intermediate Outlay), Institution, Imports and Value Added, while receipts are divided into Final Demand and Intermediate Output. 

 

IxI Social Accounting Matrix

There are two views in the Industry x Industry Accounts: Aggregate SAM and Detail SAM.

Aggregate SAM

The Aggregate SAM tab provides an overview of the entire IxI Social Accounting Matrix. Categories in both rows and columns display totals for all types of monetary transactions.

 

Detail SAM

The Detail SAM tab provides a further breakdown of the Study Area Data by the type of transfer and by Transfer Description.

IxI Input Output Accounts

Provides an expanded view of the Industry and Institutional purchases and production shown in the IxI SAM matrix.
