Study Area Data can be found at the top of the Model Overview screen in IMPLAN Online.
There are six (6) components to . They are:
- Industry Detail
- Industry Summary
- Institution Commodity Demand
- Household Commodity Demand
- Government Commodity Demand
- Area Demographics
The Industry Detail window provides a snapshot of the Study Area Data. Information displayed in this window includes Employment, Output, Employee Compensation, Proprietor Income, Other Property Type Income (OPTI), and Tax on Production and Imports.
The Industry Summary window provides additional information about the Study Area Data. Information displayed in this window includes Employment,Output, Labor Income, Total Value Added, Output Per Worker, and Labor Income Per Worker.
Institution Commodity Demand
The Institution Commodity Demand window identifies the commodity demands derived from Institutions and is broken out into six (6) categories: Sum of Households, Sum of Federal Government, Sum of State & Local Government, Capital, Inventory, and Foreign Exports.
Household Commodity Demand
The Household Commodity Demand window provides a grid of the commodity demands derived from households based on income level.
The information provided here is categorized by household income ranges:
$10 - $15K
$15 - $25K
$25 - $35K
$35 - $50K
$50 - 75K
$75 - $100K
$100 - $150K
Government Commodity Demand
The Government Commodity Demand window identifies the commodity demand from the Government Sectors. Information displayed in this window includes Federal Government NonDefense, Federal Government Defense, Federal Government Investment, State/Local Government Non-Education, State/Local Government Education, and State/Local Government Investment.
The Area Demographics window includes a breakdown of the Study Area by households based on income range.
The lower right-hand corner of the page provides four (4) options for exporting the information displayed in the Area Demographics window.
