Enabling Aggregation in IMPLAN-Online
In order to aggregate the Study Area Data or your results in IMPLAN-Online you first need to turn on the aggregation functions. This is done through the Preferences menu.
When you turn on aggregation you have two basic options for creating your aggregation scheme:
- Default Scheme
- User scheme
Default Aggregation Scheme
Selecting the default aggregation scheme will aggregate your Sectors into a broad 8 Sector category Sectoring scheme. These categories are:
- Agriculture,
- Mining,
- Construction,
- Manufacturing,
- TIPU (Transportation, Information, Power and Utilities),
- Trade, and
- Service
- Government
To select this scheme simply choose it from User Preferences> General menu and "Save".
Once "Save" is selected a prompt will let you know that your new settings have been successfully saved.
You will now see the aggregation scheme applied to the Study Area Data in the Model Overview
And the Detail Results.
To turn the Default aggregation scheme off again, return the Preferences setting to "No."
