Multi-Regional Analysis (MRIO)
Performing a Multi-Regional Analysis (MRIO) allows you to model local impacts and see them ripple through the economy to surrounding counties and/or states. Not required for standard impact analysis studies, this advanced feature is a specialized function that links multiple Study Area regions together with trade flow information to estimate impacts.
Selecting displays the Multi-Regional Analysis feature in Setup Scenarios.
Select Analyze Scenarios under the Analyze Task Menu on the left side of the IMPLAN Software. The Multi Regional tool box will populate in the lower portion of the screen. For more information on how to perform an MRIO analysis, click here.
