536 TO 546 BRIDGEThis bridge allows you to convert from the 536 sectoring scheme (20132017 data years) to the new 546 sectoring scheme. Note that the ratios only work one way: The 536 to 546 bridge is useful for converting 536based sectors to 546based sectors, but is not useful for converting 546based sectors to 536based sectors. In the 536 to 546 bridge, a ratio of 1 means that 100% of the 536 sector should be classified as the corresponding 546 sector. In theory, there could be any number of sectors with a ratio of 1 merged into a single sector. So, the ratio of 1 for two different 536based sectors simply means that both fit entirely into the same 546based sector. In general, this happens rarely since we disaggregated more sectors than we aggregated.
