All of the commonly used functions and features of IMPLAN Pro are made available in the Tasks menu. On initial startup the Tasks menu will appear as shown below. Additional functions may be added to the menu by making changes in User Preferences.
MODEL:
Opens the New Model window and displays all previously created models. Users can name the model and choose the location where the New Model will be saved.
Allows the User to access previously created models. Only one IMPLAN model can be open at a time. Only one Model may be open in each instance of the software however multiple instances of the software can be run simultaneously.
Closes the opened Model.
Provides a quick glance of the economy of the Study Region, in 5 different views: Model Information, Gross Regional Product, Economic Indicators, Areas in the Model, and Top Ten Industries.
ANALYZE:
Initially, Setup Activities is the only active option in the Analyze menu. Here you will create Activities and Events. When at least one Activity, with an associated Event, is created, the Analyze Scenarios button is activated.
Create Scenarios from Activities produced in the Setup Activities screen. Scenarios provide a framework for designing impacts. Once a Scenario has been created, the Scenario Results button will be activated.
This will display the results of the analyzed Scenario. The results are presented in three tabs: Summary, Detail and Tax Impacts.
EXPLORE:
Opens the Study Area Explorer table to view the background Information about Industries, Institutions, and Commodities in your Study Region.
In the Social Accounts Explorer tables, you can review the Social Account Reports, Balance Sheets, and Industry x Commodity SAM and IxC I/O Accounts.
View the Industry x Industry Accounts Explorer tables which include: Reports, Industry x Industry SAM, and IxI I/O Accounts.
The Multiplier Explorer reports are for both Summary Multipliers and Detail Multipliers for all 536 IMPLAN Industries.
