Modeling Local Spending for Company out of Region
We are modeling dollars spent on something that is out of the region and I have a clarifying question.
For something like chairs bought from out of the study region - we exclude total spending.
For something like real estate rentals, when the company that owns the property is out of the region, what is the best way to model the local portion of that for things like local maintenance, etc.?

Thank you for your forum post.
If you know the portion of the dollar that returns to the local region and how that portion is spent, then you can measure the spending of that portion. For example, if you know how much the real estate company pays for local maintenance for every dollar of rent paid, then you can impact the appropriate maintenance and repair sector for that value.
