Impact of faculty spending

I'm trying to determine the impact of college faculty spending their salaries in the county. The workshop exercise says to import institution and households 75-100k (for example). Then click analyze and set the level. Why can't I just do it like a normal impact and choose the sector 10008, put in the value, and then analyze. What is the advantage of importing the data and then getting the impact? Is this just two different ways of doing the same thing?

  You are correct, they accomplish the same thing. Importing the HH institution allows you to modify the spending pattern if desired.
