Problem Running IMPLAN
Hello Team IMPLAN - Happy Holidays!
I lost my harddrive about two weeks ago and Dell sent me a new one. I am in the final stages of re-installing all my software. Last night I downloaded my IMPLAN software. It looks like everything installed ok. However, when I go to select a region and the click Continue to build the study area, the software appears to construct the study region and then immediately shuts down. No kidding, it completely closes. When I re-open the software and open that model it does not say Study Region Complete in the red rectangle and the hour glass continues to be visible when the cursor is on top of the software window. Everything else on the computer works fine - SAS, Excel, etc. - so I'm not sure what is happening with IMPLAN. Should I un-install it and re-install it?

There could be a few different causes for that, I would recommend first uninstalling the implan software and installing the latest version from [url=http://implan.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_download&gid=18&Itemid=65 ]here[/url] If that doesnt solve the issue I would disable any virus scanner that you have installed and see if that helps. Also is this your personal laptop or one given to you by your IT team? Ambrose -
