Is it only the one report, or are all of them giving you grief? Does your software give reports on 2006 data? (or whatever your previous data is). One sneaky problem is to be sure you do not use upper ansi characters (eg, apostrophes or question marks in the model name)

Problem Solved...sort of. For some reason, it seems related to where the models are saved. If I use the default (C:/Program Files/IMPLAN Professional 2.0/Models), everything works fine. Or the desktop, or within My Documents but not buried too deep, all is okay. But for some reason the one path (no special characters, just layers deep in folders) makes it bomb. I'll just have to be a little less organized.:)

I am guessing the field size that holds the model name for reports is limited - I don't know if it would be an IMPLAN limitation or a Crystal reports limitation. Send the e-mail to info@implan.com. Thanks

Ok, thanks for the e-mail. There is a limit of 120 characters for the directory name plus model name (including the .iap). Found the limit by trial and error.

I lost my implan states data cd for 2001. However I needed to go back to the work that I did 2 years back. I do have the models in my Implan folder. The model do open. It says Social Accounts Constructed -(RPC: MAX). When I tried to export the reports it gave me an error. I could not export SAM 26 file CGE format files. Please help. My guess is I should be able to export the file when I have the model. The error message that I get is: Error: The Insert Into Statement contains the following unknow filed name: 'Transaction'. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, and try the operation agai.. Code:3127. I would also like to make a note that: I was able to export Industry by commodity sam . The only problem was with 26 file cge format files. Hoping that you would respond me quickly

I had no trouble with it. Zip and email the model to support@implan.com.

I was able to replicate the error with the old models but had no trouble if I rebuilt. Please send information on who purchased the data originally so we can look it up and provide the data files.

Hello! I was trying to view a report that was created in a few months ago, but I got an error message 20998. It seems like similar to the IMPLAN user above, it seems related to where the model is saved. When I had the model saved in a long file path, I wasn't able to view the reports. But when I copied the model to the default under program files, I was able to view the reports. Has there been a solution to this problem? Thank you, Jocelyn

Just the work around you found. There will be no more updates to Implan version 2.
