It has to be installed as an administrator. If you have an IT guy, have him log in as an administrator to install. Many times people think they have administrator rights, when in fact they have been given "install rights" which apparently makes a difference. If this isn't the problem let us know.

You actually need to be logged in as adminstrator.

Tried it but still no go. Same behaviour. I actually had already tried this by using the Vista properties option to open the .exe file in compatibility mode for XP and "as administrator" but I logged in as administrator and tried it again. Thanks for the suggestion! Any further ideas would be appreciated.

So you don't have a separate IT person? Sometimes they tell you, you can log in as administrator, but you are not a true administrator. Send us your phone number and we will call you to try to figure this out. (info@implan.com).

No separate IP person. I activated the real administrator to try this through the computer management consol (http://screencast.com/t/H0tZFSeir) and it still wouldn't go. My phone is XXX-XXX-XXXX (sprint). Thanks, I'd appreciate a call. That's my cell so call anytime. Dave

SOLUTION:Boot up in safe mode and install as Administrator. Thanks to Ambrose for the fix. Great job! Set-up was fast. Rebooted and logged in as myself and we are good to go!
