Error 21001

I just downloaded and installed the 2008 structural matrices for version 2. I went into IMPLAN to build a new model but when as I begin and it asks me to save as somewhere, it pops up this error: Error 21001 Error: Path not found Code: 76. I have tried to save the model to my desktop and also to our server and neither has worked.

  Actually only the installation files are available through winzip, but that is something to try - extract them to a temporary directory and execute setup. This sounds like a permissions issue, in that the installer is not allowed to copy the file to c:\program files\implan professional 2.0 directory. If you are still having problems, e-mail us and we can send the file to you.

  I think I have install permission on my machine. It isn't appearing like the 2008 matrices are really setting up, since I can still open up 2007 models. I'll send an email now if there is another file I should try downloading...

  Use windows explorer and see if there is a file 08nat440.ims in the c:\program files\implan professional 2.0 folder. If not, we can email it to you.

  There was a file with that name, but I still replaced it with the one you sent. But I'm still having the same problem... I tried reinstalling the structural matrices...still the same problem...

  Are you giving the Model a name and then trying to save the model (before it asks for which data sets)? If so it is not able to write to the specified directory. This is similar to the write permission problem. If you try to create a new 2007 model does the error pop up? If so, have your IT guy give you read/write permission to the c:\program files\implan professional 2.0 directory AND all subdirectories.
