Hello, Sector 392 is for private colleges, which they may not exist in every region. You have a few options. You are able to do an Analysis By Parts methodology if you have an operations budget (By importing a spending pattern from the Activity Options>Import>Industry Spending Pattern>Industry 392) and information on Employee Compensation (ran as a Labor Income Change Activity). You could add sector 392 to the model by using the Customize- Study Area Data function. Another option would be to import the State & Local spending pattern by clicking Activity Options>Import>From Another Model>Find the Utilities folder and select the SpendingPatternsNoPayroll_for_Programs_by_SLGovt Model>Find your institution. We can assist in helping you find the best option if you can provide what type of information is available to you like operation budgets, Employee Compensation values, jobs etc.

I move forward to Another option would be to import the State & Local spending pattern by clicking Activity Options>Import>From Another Model>Find the Utilities folder and select the SpendingPatternsNoPayroll_for_Programs_by_SLGovt Model>Find your institution. And then what do I need to do? I think I need to ADD industry section 392 with the impact value. How can I do?

Hi Yong Wui, I apologize for the delay of our response. There are actually two options for importing a college spending patterns "State & Local Govt construction elementary and secondary public " and Activity Options>Import>Industry Spending Pattern, select Sector 392. We would recommend using the basic Analysis-by-Parts and case study Analysis-by-Parts links and then also the public college case study link. This article that defines the Analysis By Parts methodology should help you, and so should this college case study. Analysis By Parts: http://implan.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=730:case-study-analysis-by-parts&catid=264:KB43 Public College: http://implan.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=670:670&catid=264:KB43 The Analysis By Parts requires you to import Industry 392 spending pattern, and model the Labor Income Change in addition. If you choose to use the State & Local Government Spending Pattern, the payroll is already included. However you only need to choose one of the spending patterns as you would not want to do a spending pattern and an Industry Change. Thanks!
