    The software is designed to work with only one appliance. When you purchase new data the system is designed to download it directly to your previous appliance. We can certainly help you get all your data on to one single appliance and the send a return shipper to you for the extra appliance, if you would like to proceed in that direction. To do this, please give us a call at 651.439.4421 and we can help you recreate the drive with both data sets and get you started. Frances

    Here is my problem everytime I get a new appliance: Received 2010 state data in a new appliance with previous years' data - 2007, 2008, 2009 - also in it. Deleted previous V3 using CP-uninstall program twice already, as instructed. Still will not work. Error message says - THIS FILE IS NOT REGISTERED TO THIS APPLIANCE. Already updated software. Will install again for the third time.

    The 2007, 2008, 2009 data are not in the aplliance. I saw the folders and sub-folders. When I clicked the sub-folders, the data are not there. The data for 2010 are there. But the error message is still the same --This file is not registered to this appliance. I would appreciate a little help and would spend more valuable time searching for answers in solving this problem. It used to be easy with V2. Insert, install and run. Would it be possible to have all my datasets from 2007 to the present be compiled in a single appliacne that I can run in my PC and laptop? Portability feature is really deasirable.

    Hi Ben, We actually recommend just downloading your new data orders directly too your current drive through Version 3.0, which makes the turn around time for receiving your data almost instantaneous. We only send additional drives when these are requested, because the software is only designed to work with a single appliance. Consequently, we certainly can certainly help you compile all the data sets onto a single drive. To do this you will need to call in to our tech support line at 651.439.4421 ext 2. Please feel free to give us a call at your convenience, when you have your system and all the drives available. We can either setup the system to look at your new 2010 drive, or delete your previous drives and move all the data onto a single appliance. When we do this we will also send you a return shipper for the extra drives. I apologize for the confusion on this. Frances
