I'm fairly new to IMPLAN, so I apologize in advance if my question is elementary. I am running an industry impact on the non-profit human services sector. I have used sector 424 for the analysis. When I get the results, the labor income is greater than value added. From the research I have done, I have read that labor income is a part of value added. If that is the case, how could value added be less than labor income? I changed the proprietor income to 0, not sure if that is skewing the numbers. Please let me know if I am missing something. Also, I am looking for a very basic and understandable definition of output for the human services sector (Children's Homes, Easter Seals, etc). Is there a definition a simple definition that could easily explain output to those in that industry. Thank you for your help.
