Hi Andrew, This is often the result of a zero value or mistyped Sector number that creates a Sector that is not included in the 440 scheme (i.e. 439 gets accidentally entered as 943). You will also want to make sure that all the fields and tabs match the Activity Template, as these fields are required for the sheet to import properly. If in reviewing your worksheet you don't see any of these types of errors, please feel free to attached the spreadsheet and we will take a look at it. If you attach you sheet can you also tell us what version of the software you are running? You should be able to see this under the Help>About menu. Hope this helps, but please let us know if you need additional assistance.

Hi Andrew, It looks like the issue is that you haven't filled out all the necessary fields in the spreadsheet, so the software is reading values a null's where it needs information. As Directed in Steps 5 & 6 you need to have an Event Year filled out, and you have to assign an Local Purchase Percentage value. We recommend setting the LPP to 100% if you don't know the Local Purchase Percentage value. However, this template looks like it is probably a budgetary spending pattern, so once it is imported you will want to change the Local Purchase Percentage value to SAM Model Value through the Event Options>Change All>Set Local Purchase Percentage> SAM Model Value. But then we noticed also that the instructions fail to point out that you also have to have the Retail column. You will want to set this field to "Yes" for all your retail sales (320-330) and likely "No" for all other fields, unless you happen to know that the specific items purchased from the other Sectors were retail purchases and then these should be set to "Yes" as well. Once you have all these fields filled out it should import just fine for you. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. IMPLAN Support Team
