Hello, I modified 10 commodities (26, 103, 337, 338, 355, 356, 372, 374, 375) which are used to supply No.25 industry (stone mining and quarrying). 1. I increased the RPC of this 10 commodities by 2% at one time, then analysis the impacts. 2. I then increased another 2%, until I increased the RPC by 10%. Therefore, I increased the RPC by 2%, 4%, 65, 8%, and 10%, respectively. I made this modification by using Analysis by parts method and through Trade flow> industry institution RPC. In the model, as you can see the "scenario results". the scenario names which are :2 percent, 4 percent,...10 percent are the results by using ABP method. the scenario names which are: T2,T4,...T10 are the results by using the other one method. The results from both cases are very similar but still have slight differences. the percentage deviation of these two sets results is 5%. My question is why the results are not the same. what is the reason of this 5% differences?

Hi, The difference in results you are seeing are the result of your missing Labor Income Change Activity to go along with the Industry Spending Pattern in your ABP analysis. This Labor Income Change Activity will need two Events - one for EC and one for PI, with their values each set to the matching EC and PI numbers from the Industry Change Activity. You can run this Event along with your ISP Event in each of your ABP scenarios (i.e., you don't need to create any new Scenarios, you just need to rerun your ABP Scenarios, now with two Activities in each of them). You will then need to add into the ABP results the direct OPI and IBT from the Industry Change Activity. Here is some more info on ABP. Thanks!
