We are working on a Private Hospital IMPLAN. They have provided Gross Revenue, Net Patient Revenue, Total Salary, Salary + Taxes and Benefits, Salary by Job Class with FTE counts, Vendor payments (including physicians), and 3 Contractor grouping FTE's. After speaking with another IMPLAN user in our region, they suggested we convert the FTE numbers to employees/jobs based on a table and use that to run the model. After skimming other posts here regarding FTE's it is unclear to me the better approach. Given the information/data the hospital has provided, should we convert FTE's to jobs? If so, would you please direct me to a conversion table? Or should we use total salaries or go back to the gross revenues level and use that as the basis? Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated!
