Hi Hulya! Thanks for your forum post. There should not be a maximum on the number of Activities in a Model. Are you running into a situation where there is? Is something not working as you thought it may work? Thanks!

I did not run into a situation like that, but I have models with multiple activities in a year. I am planning to use the same model for several years adding new activities for new years. Does it work this way? Thank you.

Hi Hulya! Thanks for the additional information about your project. You could use the Model in that manner, as long as I am understanding your question. You are wanting to use the same Model to add your Activities to that occur year after year. You would want to change your Event Year to reflect the year the impact occurred in- for inflation purposes. The caution I have with that though is your Model Year. You would be assuming that every year has the same economy as your Model Year. For example, if your Model Year was from 2013 and you added an Activity that occurred in 2017- you would be saying the make up for the economy of 2017 is the same that happened in 2015. Thanks!

You are correct that I change the event year, but I did not think about the model year. I am running these models for all the counties, congressional districts and MSAs. I was trying to save from time and space by not building a new model every year. I need to think about another way perhaps? Is there any? Thank you.

Hi Hulya! The best practice method would be to manually enter the Activities/ Events. We would recommend building a New Model each year, unfortunately- it would be a manual process. Thanks
